Tuscany Wedding Photography & Filmmaking

My approach is centered on documentary storytelling. I capture the sincere atmosphere of your day in Tuscany and across Italy, providing a visual narrative that stays true to your actual experience. From the quiet morning preparations to the energy of the party, I observe and preserve every honest emotion through a discreet lens.

Aerial Storytelling & Drone Perspectives

To fully document the setting of your day, I integrate professional drone photography and film. These aerial views capture the character of your venue and the landscape of Tuscany, providing a wider perspective of your celebration. This service is designed to enrich your visual story with the authentic beauty of the Italian scenery, without interfering with the flow of the event.

Cinematic Documentary Film Experience

My filmmaking service is an extension of my documentary philosophy: observing rather than directing. I document your story through a discreet lens, capturing the authentic rhythm and sounds of your celebration in Florence, Certaldo, Siena, and across Tuscany.

Supported by a dedicated filmmaker and professional drone perspectives, your wedding film is delivered in high-fidelity 4K. The narrative is built around the original audio of your vows and the genuine atmosphere of the day, ensuring a visual legacy that is both honest and professional.

F.A.Q.

1.Where do you work as a wedding photographer and filmmaker?

I’m based in Certaldo (Florence) and I mainly work in Tuscany and Umbria, but I’m available to travel all over Italy.

2. What is your photography style?

I love a reportage style — a strongly emotional and honest way of telling real life.

This approach involves very few poses and focuses on documenting what truly happens in a natural and spontaneous way.

I believe your wedding day should belong to you, not to the photographer, and that you should be free to enjoy every moment. For this reason, even though I’m always searching for inspiration and looking for frames that go beyond what you might expect, I try to be as discreet as possible.

I combine pure documentary coverage, with no intervention at all, with a few fashion-inspired portraits where I gently suggest poses — always keeping them natural and relaxed — so that you can feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

3. What is your approach / philosophy?

When a photograph goes straight to the heart, it’s because it tells something deeply true and pure.

When it’s done well, photography has two great powers: it can create stories and memories that last over time, and it can move us deeply.

For this to happen, it’s essential that the photographer not only has talent and technical skills, but also truly sees and understands the people in front of the camera. That’s where each person’s unique beauty lives, and what makes every couple different from all the others.

For me, photographing a wedding means discovering the wonder and the nuances that belong only to you, capturing them and turning them into a story. No one else in the world is exactly like you, and there is no other couple identical to yours — that’s why your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

It’s very important to me to create a memory of that day that will stay with you forever. I want to get to know you, understand your personalities and your dreams, so I can translate them into images, and select the products that best reflect your taste and expectations.

Only in this way is it possible to truly enhance and tell your story through unique photographs that touch the deepest strings of your heart — and preserve what will always be your special day.

4. Do you also take posed photos?

When requested, I’m very happy to include moments of posed portraits (individual or couple) and/or more formal family photos.

These moments are handled with great care and artistic attention, but always in a relaxed and natural way. They’re dynamic, easy-going, and won’t take over your day in terms of time.

F.A.Q.

5. How many photos will you take?

There is no strict minimum or maximum — the number of photos depends on what happens throughout the day. On average, for a full wedding in reportage style, I usually take between 1,500 and 2,000 images in total.

6. We’d love to have some beautiful portraits but we don’t like posing and we’re not very photogenic.

Photogenic is about 80% a state of mind: shyness, discretion and not wanting to be in the spotlight often make someone feel or appear less photogenic.

Throughout my career I’ve often heard couples tell me: “We’re not photogenic.”

For me, photographing you in a way that makes you feel beautiful is a wonderful challenge.

I always tell my couples that your “photogenic side” is my responsibility — it’s something I need to bring out through the right approach.

In any posed photos, my goal is for you to remain yourselves: natural and beautiful, just as you are every day. It’s my job to understand you and portray you in the best possible way.

7. Can we have the digital files without ordering an album?

Yes! When you book your wedding coverage, you can choose a package that includes only the digital photos, without ordering an album or printed products.

8. Who will select the images to be used for the album or for the edited story?

I will send you a numbered proof gallery and ask you to select the images you absolutely don’t want to miss in your album.

You’ll choose your “must-have” photos, and then I’ll complete the storytelling layout for your album, sharing a high-resolution web preview with you.

After that, we’ll review it together and decide whether to keep the proposed layout as it is or replace a few images if needed.
