Nicole & Todd – Destination Wedding at Castello di Oliveto, Tuscany

Location: Castello di Oliveto, Castelfiorentino (Florence) – Tuscany, Italy
Nicole+Todd Wedding
Nicole and Todd, a French couple deeply in love with Tuscany, chose the Castello di Oliveto in Castelfiorentino for their destination wedding in Italy. Built in the 15th century by the Florentine Pucci family, this fortified castle with its red brick walls, four corner towers and inner courtyard is one of the most beautiful historic residences in Tuscany – a truly magical setting for a romantic wedding.
Their civil ceremony took place in the garden right in front of the castle towers. With the historic façade of Castello di Oliveto behind them and the Tuscan countryside all around, Nicole and Todd exchanged their vows in an atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand. The gentle breeze, the sound of guests’ voices and the warm light on the stone and brick walls turned every moment into something cinematic.
After the ceremony, we continued with a wedding photo reportage around the castle. We walked through the garden, the courtyard and the pathways that lead along the fortified walls, using the towers, arches and views over the hills as natural backdrops. The contrast between the elegant outfits of the couple and the medieval architecture of Castello di Oliveto created timeless images, full of depth and character.
As the day moved into the evening, the castle slowly lit up, and the reception atmosphere became even more romantic. Dinner, speeches and toasts unfolded in an environment that perfectly combines history, Tuscan charm and a refined, international vibe – exactly what many couples dream of for their destination wedding in Tuscany.
This wedding at Castello di Oliveto is a wonderful example of how a historic venue can become the stage for a very personal and emotional love story, where every photograph reflects not only the couple, but also the soul of the place.
